Jess Mathiak, BSN, RN, MSA CEO + Founder

Boss Babe Extraordinaire, Nurse Jess is our founder and CEO of MICAHEALING Aesthetics + Wellness. Certified in cosmetic injectables and clinical weight management, with over 15 years of healthcare experience, Jess will be your #1 supporter for all things aesthetics & wellness. After surviving multiple blood clots in 2024 that impacted her brain, heart and lungs, Jess decided to follow her dreams and develop a holistic + functional practice to offer an alternative to traditional western medicine. Her previous roles in hospital leadership, emergency and trauma nursing, as well as operations, helped shape her into the CEO that she is today. Jess serves on the board of directors for the Highland-White Lake Business Association and is also a CPR Instructor. Her passion for helping people is palpable. And her love for Jesus is contagious. John Frownfelter, MD, FACP Medical Director

The Man, The Myth, The Medical Director!

Dr. Frownfelter is a seasoned Internist with an extensive list of medical experiences. Serving in executive roles beyond his clinical practice, he takes extreme pride in his work. John is very active in our practice, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients. He is also a man of Faith and has volunteered for a myriad of Medical Missions trips over the years, and leads a Bible study in his home through his church. Fun Fact: John & Jess go to the same church!

He, his wife Wasan, and 4 children also live here in Highland. Dr. Frowny is super supportive of holistic medicine and advocates for wellness & healing.

Olivia Foglesong, BSN, RN Aesthetic + Wellness Nurse

Nurse Olivia is an absolute dream to have on our team. As a Certified Nurse Injector and a Peptide Guru, Liv embodies compassionate care. After her own hormonal health journey through adolescence and into adulthood, Liv's passion for helping women with nutrition, acne and positive body image has strengthened. She has several years of experience in the wellness space, particularly surrounding medical weight loss and hormone optimization. She loves what she does! Liv is also a pediatric oncology nurse and is working on her Nurse Practitioner degree. She has fantastic recipes and shares often on her social media. Her favorite food is watermelon!

Jessica Moore, Licensed Esthetician Community Outreach + Wellness Coordinator

To be blessed is to know her. Jessica brings absolute joy to the MICAHEALING team. As a licensed esthetician, with many years in the dermatology field, Jessica provides top notch services in the esthetic space. She also holds certifications in dermaplaning and chemical peels. However, Jess is known for her signature relaxation facial, where as one patient put it, "it was transformative." Jessica is a skincare junkie and has a thorough knowledge set when recommending treatments and medical grade skincare products. A graduate of Lakeland High School, the Huron Valley community has been, and continues to be, her home. She literally knows everybody. Jessica has two amazing kiddos and she is a die-hard dance mom! Wasan Frownfelter, PA-C

A graduate from U of D Mercy with a Masters in Physician Assisting, Wasan brings 25 years of clinical practice to MICAHEALING. Her focus on cardiology, electrophysiology and geriatrics gives her a comprehensive and diverse understanding of complex, chronic disease across a wide range of patient populations. Now as a functional medicine practitioner, she specializes in improving overall health and wellness by addressing root cause of disease, with a particular interest in gut health, auto-immune dysfunction and lessening the burden of chronic conditions. Wasan is a mom of 4, and serves in many areas of ministry at her church. She is committed to patient centered, integrative healing, prevention and optimized quality of life.
